Hi
[edit]and Welcome to Wikipedia. However, I must point out that Juan mora lacks referencing to comply with WP:BLP. In fact, the only reference seems to be to a site associated with the subject. Have a look at WP:RS to see what is considered reliable. (BTW the one reference doesn't work for me at all. Could be a typo or something.) Peridon (talk) 19:37, 15 November 2010 (UTC)
Hello
[edit]I'll check out that reference...strange that it doesn't work. Sorry about that. Will check out WP:RS too. My real problem is that I'm having trouble finding references in English... — Preceding unsigned comment added by WikiGate (talk • contribs)
- While it is preferable to have references in English, it is not absolutely necessary. It would be better to provide references in a foreign language than to provide no references at all. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 21:15, 15 November 2010 (UTC)
Promotion
[edit]Your record of contributions so far would seem to indicate that you are here solely for the purpose of promoting PODER Magazine and its editorial staff. Please keep in mind that Wikipedia is not for the promotion of your business interests. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 21:17, 15 November 2010 (UTC)
Re: Promotion
[edit]That is not the case, but I see how my string of posts could be interpreted that way. My goal is to bring light to an organization and group of individuals that I recently discovered and think very highly of. But I understand there may not be enough solid references in English for me to make these posts legitimate in their own right. WikiGate (talk) 21:29, 15 November 2010 (UTC)
Dead link
[edit]The Synergos link in Juan mora is dead as it stands. This still leaves you not reliably referenced, so I've put the refimprove tag back. Do look at WP:RS and WP:BLP and try again. Peridon (talk) 11:55, 16 November 2010 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Juan Mora (entrepreneur)
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Juan Mora (entrepreneur), requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. (See section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
- It appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), individual animal, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. (See section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. –Roscelese (talk ⋅ contribs) 01:46, 2 April 2019 (UTC) Hello, I'm Deb.
